Message from the Principal’s desk……

“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents.”– Albert Einstein.

As we are on the threshold of a new academic session, I would like to pen down something from the Principal’s desk to our web page. Each academic year is a new height scaled, another dream realized with new target set for the future. Each member of this esteemed institution is devoted to, bringing their dreams and aspirations into reality through sincerity & perseverance.

Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” Education plays an important role in holistic formation of every human being. As the tree can not stand without its roots so human being is not complete without education. Our institution “St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School” not only stands for its academical performances but for the values and human formation. We aspire to instill morals, life skills, habits and good manners that make our students stand out and make difference in society. Our mission of Education provides the students with ample opportunities to prove themselves in this 21st century skills, such as collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, emotional balance, time management, eco-friendly and much more.

It is said, “The development of any Society depends upon the dynamic, futuristic and challenging nature of its Educational System that creates professionals for different fields of the society.” Thus “The mind of a child is like a blank page and as a mentor we need to embark it with the pen of hard work, the ink of knowledge and create a sketch which will be everlasting in the child’s life.”  While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to prepare the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. Education makes the children to grow to their full potential, while constantly being groomed to pass out as men and women competent to bear responsibility in all walks of life.

As educators we are dedicated to inspiring and guiding our students to become curious, lifelong learners. We will challenge them to push beyond their limits, embrace failures as learning opportunities, and develop resilience and perseverance. We care for and appreciate each of our students as the unique individuals that they are, each with distinct differing learning styles. We want each of our students to leave school with the values of respect, cooperation, persistence and striving for excellence underpinning all that they do.

The great American poet Maya Angelou said: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” To make my teachers feel empowered is my prime purpose. To make my students feel enlightened is my supreme responsibility. To help my institution soar to the heights of academic excellence is my ultimate goal.

I conclude this message with the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Even as I take on the responsibility of leading this school, with all sincerity and humility I dedicate myself to this noble calling and wish to assure all my beloved students, teachers, parents, non-teaching staff and the Management that with the help of the Almighty God I will do everything possible to elevate this prestigious institution to greater heights.

Regards,
Sr. Bailaja James
