Greetings and prayerful wishes from the Correspondent!
Covid19 has not left us. It has caused havocs in our lives. We have lost too many lives, we have lost our income, we have lost our normal life and what not… We go to bed and wake up with fear and stress.
In this pandemic situation we all enter into 2021-2022 academic year. I have a word, not a new word, the word we all know – ‘dream’ and ‘dream high’.
We do dream or in other words, we all have dreams in sleep. I am not speaking about the dreams we have in our sleep; but I am speaking of ‘dream’ that does not allow us to sleep.
I do remember the words of our beloved founder, the late bishop Most. Rev. Leon A. Tharmaraj of the R. C. Diocese of Kottar. Once, some 25 years back, while addressing to the thousands of staffs gathered together for their staff day celebration, he said, “Dear teachers, you all have to dream and dream high for your children in the school, because most of the parents do not have the opportunity to dream for their children”.
Today, as time has changed, we could honestly and boldly say that we all have dreams and, in fact, we all dream high. Let us all make our dreams into our goals and passionately drive towards them.
Someone has rightly said, “To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan but also believe”.
May God bless you all with good health and Peace.
With Love and Regards,
Fr. G. Maria Gladston
